About Us

We are dedicated to research of the Dogue de Bordeaux breed. We believe that not enough information is available surrounding these magnificent animals. It is our aim to find out and publish more about them on this site. Much of our research and content is from our experience owning dogs over the years. Please remember that none of this is to be taken as scientific or veterinary advice.

These large and friendly dogs are known all over the world and yet many are unaware of the wide ranging characteristics that they have. Their size alone can be a cause for alarm but, once you get to know one, you will join the masses of people who have fallen in love with the breed. Also, besides buying one yourself, the only way to learn more about them is by reading websites just like ours.

Over the next few months, we aim to cover all aspects of the breed including (but not limited to) their training, personality, common misconceptions and more. As is the case with any breed of dog or any animal though, there is so much to cover.

We are a not-for-profit website, so we do not make any money from the content that we produce. Instead, we encourage you to donate to a local or international pet charity (like the Dogs Trust) to help those animals in need of shelter, care, and attention.
